REALTOR
One, who is an active member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) is referred to as a realtor. As a member of the association, he/she has taken an oath to uphold the ethics of the profession and to maintain the standard.

REAL ESTATE AGENT
An agent is one, who is licensed to work as a real estate agent after under-going a form of training and passing a test. He or she can work as a sales professional, an associate broker or broker in helping people to buy or rent commercial properties.
